Once again Red Bull invites me out to shoot Hard Haunted. A great show held at the Shrine in Los Angeles.  This party had an intense visual install located inside of the Shrine. And CPU was the visual designer for the install.

As a Record Label, showcase promoter and musical catalyst, Droid Behavior stands at the hypocenter of the West Coast techno explosion. For over seven years they have fostered LA’s techno movement and presented its constituency with the genre’s greatest. Maintaining momentum with countless one-offs and both club and underground collaborations, with its incomparable multimedia experience known as Interface.

Hello from Bit23. My Name is Dean Paul De Leon a Southern California native. I remember my early childhood days playing with a Polaroid camera. Remember those boxy cameras? While attending the Academy of Art University in San Francisco in 2001, I obtained my first digital camera which was a Nikon Cool Pix 995. I have always sought to capture moments in my life through the lens of a camera. When looking through the view finder of my camera, I try to make the viewer feel as if he/she is with the subject.

This site displays photo’s of my daily life, work, press shots, and events. There will be regular updates of art and music shows and anything that relates to technology advancement with photography and music.

CLR came correct with this amazing party that took place at Elysium nightclub in Detroit, Michigan. Upstairs Drumcell opened for Collabs (Speedy J and Chris Liebing) and in the basement Radio Slave and Marcel Dettmann went back to back all night. The energy level in this club was intense. Not mention the sound system, WOW.

Prime is the new above ground collaboration between Droid Behavior and west coast Hype Guru’s Media Contender. Our aim is to provide internationally renown techno house minimal and crossover talent to the city of Los Angeles on a monthly basis. For this first installment we bring you the heavy hitting and techno defining talent of Marcel Dettmann.

Also joining Dettmann was Droid heavy weights Raíz / Acid Circus and long time collaborator Subversive. The duo set up the night properly for Dettmann with their signature deep techno funk inspired mixes.
